          ||. twilight may be the physical incarnation of magic itself but that definitely does not mean she’s invincible. immortal? yes. but she can still be killed by a well placed blow or other wound.

         there are also two ways to fatally wound her on a magical level too. the first and more noble / grand cutie mark destiny fulfilled way being: force her to take upon herself all of the surrounding magic of the equestria (and the princesses) in an effort to funnel it into one spell, effectively using her body as a conduit and vaporizing in the process. (she would therefore become magic itself at that point and the part of her that is forever bound to the mortal realm would be lying in wait for reincarnation likely alongside the girls to start the whole cycle over again)

          the second being: strip her of her magic. a successful (and quick) kill would be to strip her of her magic and surrounding equestrian magic, essentially leaving her as a husk with minutes to spare (re: mlp movie, cozy glow’s s8 finale attempts), or strip her of her magic and physically exhaust her, giving her little to no time to recover her strength for the maximum of 12 hours she would have left in her. (re: tirek)

                       ❝ –     your majesty?    ❞    large green eyes glance toward night’s empress, she might of been a little stressed, things were going well, much too well that the blonde began to feel the prickle of the anxiety run up her spine, the princesses welcome went down a treat and for such magnificent rulers to come to their little kingdom made for quite the celebration for their reception – what beautiful creatures, truly glorious!   like the magnificent deities she read in her books in the library with a pot of tea and candle as her company.   but dedede’s behaviour made her paranoid, no way has he put such funding, actual funding into something other than himself.   even if it were to impress, it always benefited him in the end rather than the guests of honour.

    but that worry depletes for the moment, indigo feathers are glossy in the light and as soft and preened as they looked when they almost cover her whole form!   and she finds herself giggling, no fault of her own but the hoof that ruffled her hair giving her quite the tickle, and the feathers didn’t help either!   how unique and wonderful princess luna was,  such majesty but the spirit she possessed was as gentle as moonlight on sea foam.

| ♔ } The ex-king merely studied the moon princess, ears slowly pinning themselves back as he broke his eye contact.  His gaze lowered to the ground, staring down at his own hooves as he mused over Luna’s question.  It was quite a subject Sombra really didn’t have much thought over, but now he that he thought about it... perhaps he did?

Crimson irises lifted their gaze back to meet the princess’s eyes, his face softening as he exhaled a deep breath from his chest.
