Ash remembers how to make the potion from that one late-series Johto episode with the witch and dares the rest of the Teen Squad to try it. The results:

Ash: Lucario

Tulip: Tinkatuff

Desmond: Keldeo with an orange-and-black mane

Sora: Klefki carrying a few miniature Keyblades. Somehow knows Sacred Sword

Arle: Shiny Kirlia

Dapple: Hisuian Zorua (she's a bit annoyed it's not a cat but can't argue with the logic)

Shantae: Purple-and-Red Hattrem

Laharl: Marshadow

Frenzy: Sneasel

Crown: Blue Diancie

Cole: Iron Valiant (how he managed to drink it is beyond me)

Wareach: Mutant Steenee

Ranma: Hisuian Sneasel (Girl Mode is Shiny, but the purple parts turn red instead of yellow and the eyes are blue for both)

Cursor: Mimikyu (she retains her color scheme and there's no face drawn on. Everyone is surprised that it actually affected her)

Also, they somehow manage to rope Gary into it and he ends up as a Wingull for some reason. Ash and Pikachu don't stop laughing for the next 47 minutes.

Gary being a Wingull is AMAZING. I would be laughing too,, Cursor is probably surprised it worked on her too, but she won't admit that its kinda fun being a Pokémon

Also,, Tulip being a Tinkatuff,, she probably is resisting the urge to bonk everyONE and everyTHING

Ash: When I say my gender changes to the tune of the bit I mean a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do and if he can't then god forbid women do anything.

Shantae: I took a nap and had a dream we were fighting over fish facts.

Tulip: You and me? Who won?

Shantae: Yeah, I woke up pissed off.

Shantae: The argument was "squids are bugs like shrimp" and they aren't. They're cephalopods and they actually have pretty large brains. And you just kept saying no they're bugs and I was getting pissed.

Tulip, with a completely straight face: Because they are. Dream me was right.

Shantae:

Shantae: *shoves her while they both start giggling* I'm gonna start actually hurting you, you piss me off.

Roll: Sometimes I wonder what I taste like.

Andi: I can help with that.

Roll, blushing: *imagines Andi biting her arm with her beartrap beak, sparks and wires flying everywhere, soaked in coolant*

Andi: *also imagines biting Roll's arm but doesn't quite get how robots work so there's blood instead of coolant*

Frenzy: Sure

Cole: How do you reply so fast

Arle: And my final final count is forty-two.

Laharl, sitting on a Black Warrior corpse with her sword buried halfway into it: Impressive. Just what I'd expect from a mage of your skill!

Laharl: I on the other hand happen to be sitting on a count of forty-three. *laughs triumphantly*

Arle: *notices movement and shoots the corpse in the head with a Fireball, incidentally cutting off Laharl's laughter* Forty-three.

Laharl, indignant: He was already dead.

Arle: He was twitching!

Laharl: *while yanking her sword around both to demonstrate and for emphasis* He was twitching because he's got my SWORD embedded in his nervous system!

Cursor: *dead tired from scrambling to make the most of her two month time limit* What if I pour coffee in my cereal instead of milk?

Vitality: *takes the coffee pot from her as she walks by* What if you don't?

*don't worry about how this started, just another disaster of the week*

Hex: *crouched in front of a Heavy who tripped while running from something* Are you alright, sir? What happened?

Heavy: Peaches! PEACHES! *gets back up and keeps running, with several other people doing the same*

Hex: What does that even mean?

*she goes unheard by the mob, and a few of the other kids, as well as Desmond and Wareach show up soon after*

Lily: What's everybody running from?

Welony: *sees something down the street* Uh, maybe that!?

*the rest of the group looks more-or-less where she's pointing (it's hard to tell when she has blocky arms and no hands okay) ...and sees Wheelchair Koopa*

Lily, confused: Charlie?

Wheelchair Koopa, who is apparently named Charlie: Hi guys!

Welony: No that!

*the camera shifts to reveal a bunch of wall-eyed Princess Peach Recolors shuffling around like zombies and chanting "Lots of Me" out-of-synch from each-other, turning anyone they touch into another Peach Recolor. within seconds the kids are the only non-Peaches in the immediate area*

Bowser Junior, with a very calm sort of terror: ...Well that sure wiggles my biscuits.

All the kids: RUN!!! *they do so, screaming in terror like the mob before them*

Cody, once they're out of sight and relatively safe: What was that?

Lil Coding: It's...some kinda'...Princess Peach Zombie! And if she touches you, you turn into a Peach Zombie too!

Franky: I can't be Aunt Peach! I know nothing about politics!

Wareach: Then we've just got to make sure those things never touch us!

The Peach Zombie right behind her: Lots of me... *puts a hand on her shoulder, causing everyone to freak out and run...though somehow she doesn't change at all and kicks the Zombie away while also freaking out and running*

Bowser Junior, understandably a bit slow to realize Wareach is fine: *grabs Lily and holds her in front of him like a shield* Stay back! You're infected!

Lily, mostly just annoyed: Junior, put me down.

Wareach, still a bit hysterical: I'm okay! Really!

BJ: *while putting Lily down* How are you okay?

Wareach: I don't know!

Desmond: Perhaps it's because you're technically already a Peach clone.

*there's a scattered general consensus of "oh, yeah that makes sense"*

Not sure how coherent this is going to be because it's more a string of ideas than a full plot/timeline and I've omitted some things that are spoilers for part of a storyline way later, but here's some of the explanation for Wareach showing up on the Wario Bros front step.

So as you may recall from way back during Classic SMG4 in the first Wacky Wario Bros episode, Wario and Waluigi are originally from the Wah Kingdom, with Wario getting lost at sea and losing his memories as a toddler and Waluigi getting banished due to Ludicrous Amounts of Crime as an adult.

Now, growing up without his brother was hard for Waluigi, not least because... well... let's just say that he got kicked out onto the street at 16 and that's in the top 5 best things their birth parents ever did for him (He's faced so much rejection in his life that it's literally turned into a superpower, I figured it had to starts somewhere). As you might expect, he was not the first to get the hell away from that shithole of a family, voluntarily or not. Namely, their dad had a younger sister who ran away from home before they were born that Waluigi only know about because he occasionally overheard the adults bitching about her.

Said sister is presumably Wareach's mom. Neither she nor the Wario Bros know for sure because her mom very understandably did not talk about her blood relatives at all and Waluigi very understandably has had no contact with them since getting banished or her ever. Wareach only figured out the possible connection thanks to finding some things from the Wah Kingdom in her mom's stuff and the obvious family resemblance. (The Bros note but don't call out the fact that she only ever refers to her mother in past tense and never mentions a father at all).

Anyway, she decided to try following the lead (she's a bit cagey about exactly why she's following it now specifically, or why a teenager came all the way to an entirely new city with no return plans alone on nothing but an educated guess), and now she's here.

The Bros obviously aren't gonna turn away a kid who clearly has nowhere else to go, whether she has a high probability of being family or not, so they at least agree to let her stay the night and then they'll figure things out for sure in the morning.

The New Girl

Basically I realized that all of Desmond's friends are either significantly younger than him (relatively speaking) and really more-so his brother's friends, or live in other universes (since he, Pikachu and Crown kind of just Incidentally got lumped in with the teenage Avatars due to proximity), and I've chosen to rectify this by introducing my redesigned version of the "Wapeach" concept art that surfaced a couple months ago.

The episode starts with Wareach (my name for her. I just feel like it flows better than Wapeach, alright?) arriving in the Mushroom Kingdom after what seems to have been a long train ride. She walks out of New Donk Station with a big backpack and starts exploring the city, taking in all the new sights and sounds while also seemingly looking for someone in particular. She ends up running into Desmond, they pretty quickly hit it off, and he ends up deciding to show her around... and that tour rapidly descends into chaos and property damage because this is the Mushroom Kingdom. Wareach, being a "Wah" and also a bit of an adrenalin junkie, thoroughly enjoys this.

At the end of the day they exchange numbers and go their separate ways for now, and then the final scene shows the Wario Bros at home doing nothing in particular, only for the doorbell to ring. They open it to find a surprisingly anxious Wareach, who asks if they're the Wario Bros, and when they confirm it this is how she introduces herself;

"My name's Wareach, and... I'm pretty sure I'm your cousin."

And with their shocked and confused expressions we have cliffhanger.

(I tricked you into thinking this was a Desmond episode, but it was actually buildup to a Wario Bros Backstory Expansion all along!)

(I'm serious about Desmond finally having local friends his own age though)
