My players keep asking for crazy ways to modify our warforged’s body
Some kind of make sense, like replacing limbs with better ones. Others range from adding additional limbs to storing people in his torso or rebuilding him into a tank. Every session they manage to come up with something new and usually game-breaking.
So I had an idea. I could make the final, campaign-ending villain a warforged. Every time the players think of some crazy way to modify their wizard’s body, it gets added to that villain. And they ask for multiple different things every session so it’ll add up very quickly.
By the end, it’d be a horrifying monstrosity of metal and wood, the embodiment of every crazy idea they’ve come up with turned against them. When they finally reach its lair they just see an amalgamation of metal and wood. As the fight goes on they realize every one of its abilities is the ones they’ve asked me to allow. They created this monster, and now they need to face the horror they once wished for and take it down.
