Hihi again! It's me again asking you about Orokin/hollvanian language :P By any chance did you check the "word" or whatever Ryoku has on his belly side? It looks like hollvanian language. I don't know if you covered this somewhere else and I missed the post. In that case, sorry for the repetition.

Hello again :D! I DID have a look actually! I didn't cover it yet, no! Hilariously enough, a whole bunch of my friends sent it to me cause they knew I'd probably wanna see it, or be able to read it LOL

So, looking at this, it LOOKS like it could be Hollvanian Orokin, but it's written strangely. It's like it combines the Hollvania script with the modern writing method (where letters can be partially inside other letters to make them look cursive)

There seems to be individual letters:

m (green)

oo (yellow)

t (cyan)

And a letter 9 (red) and then another cross section (magenta) that doesn't make sense? I thought MAYBE the '9' was a stylized 'd', but that doesn't help to make much sense of it either & doesn't solve the mystery of that magenta line.

There is something it COULD say, but I have NO WAY of confirming right now if I'm correct or not.

If I read this like I'd read modern Orokin, this MIGHT say:

"Old Otomo".. which, お供 (Otomo) in Japanese means 'companion', 'escort', 'attendant'. This would track with Sirus' story.. but again I have ZERO way to confirm that right now as I've never seen Orokin written in this way, especially Hollvanian Orokin.

If someone at DE wants to confirm, I'd DEEPLY appreciate it LOL

NGL I'm *MORE* interested in the BRAND NEW LANGUAGE AND CORPUS QR CODES WE GOT 👀👀👀 I've seen NO ONE talking about that!!?!??!

Yes, I have tried to scan it. No, it does not scan.

QR codes typically use two things to read the data on the image.

1) The corner sections to align the QR code and 2) A mask to tell the scanner how to read the data, including any parity (error checking)

Regardless of the alignment sections, without know the bits of the code that tell the QR what mask it uses so it can use that to decode it, it can't be read.

...SO YEA. I've been mulling over this for DAYS.

Nef Anyo, Prophet of Profit

Fan Deluxe Concept: Frumentarii Cyte-09

Inspired by Quincy's KIM conversations regarding Parvos Granum, I wondered what it would be like if Cyte-09 had a Corpus-themed skin. What started out as a TennoGen concept quickly exploded into something more elaborate and far beyond the scope/limitations of TennoGen itself.

It took a year -plus some tears, three crashouts, and at least one nervous breakdown- for this to fully be realized, but it's finally finished.

Specific inspiration:

The concept was originally called "Son of Parvos", because the whole family theming between the Sisters of Parvos and Protea as his "daughter", why not have a "son"? (Quick, someone check on Nef Anyo after he sees this!) Which is why his color scheme and overall motif is based off of Parvos himself.

Another inspiration was the look of a priest, seeing as Parvos' hat evokes a mitre and all; the belt in particular as well as the collar (if you look hard enough). That said, I owe CaptainTagada a big one, as they suggested going with a military angle for Cyte-09's helmet. Ended up inspired by the Brodie —doughboy to us burgerlanders— helmet from around WWI-II.

What really made this all come together was the legs: Lua Luminary, iirc, suggested using the legs of the Jackal/Hyena proxies and once a quick visual was cobbled together, everything fell into place scarily quick. It's quite amazing how something like that can be the catalyst for an idea to be realized.

Of course, I couldn't do a Cyte-09 deluxe without a very special element: Quincy Isaacs himself. Normally, I wouldn't have bothered because I'm not a fan of Protoframes on the whole (I do like some of them as NPCs to a point), but considering it was Quincy's KIM convos that inspired this, it was only right to include him.

To seal the "Son of Parvos" angle, I gave Quincy a prosthetic, golden forearm + hand, as I realized while working on this that Quincy has a prosthesis on his left arm. I don't use Protoframe skins personally, so I confess I didn't know. And it has a layer of irony if you remember Deadlock Protocol and how Nef was contemplating self-amputation for a golden hand of his own. I could very well see Parvos giving Quincy a golden arm, tbh.

As a design choice, I gave him regular human legs. Cyte has the Hyena legs, Quincy has the golden arm. Balances out.

As a final note: The belt and Quincy's left arm are intended to be on the Attachments channel, as the belt could potentially be an auxiliary item to mitigate clipping.
