Bummer.  I honestly think I was done with it by the middle of s6 (and most definitely by the end of s6), but I kept pushing myself to watch it just to say I’d watched it (and hoping it might get better).

1. What was the first series you watched and how did you find out about it?

I watched Band of Brothers first.  A long time ago.  I can’t remember when exactly.  It was during a Fourth of July weekend marathon on tv, and I’d heard about it before, but really made myself sit down and watch it because of Cudlitz. (I think.  I mean, I honestly couldn’t tell you if this is a correct recount or not, it’s been so long, and my descent into the series was kind of a flailing nosedive and I’m just honestly not sure what order things happened.)

2. Which series of the three is your favorite? Why?

For a long time, BoB was my favorite.  Now it’s The Pacific.  Why?  I honestly don’t know.  It just is.

3. Have you read any of the books related to the series?

I’ve read Ambrose’s book, Winters’, Malarkey’s, Web’s, Bill and Babe’s, Leckie’s, Shifty’s, one of Sledge’s (still only part of the way through China Marine), and I’m halfway through Gen Kill (I’ve been halfway through it for like a year).

4. Favorite/least favorite Band of Brothers characters? Why?

Favorite: Webster (or, if we’re talking rl trooper, it would prob be Christenson–who I fell in love with while reading Web’s book).  Least favorite: Dike?  Only because I love to hate him.  

5. Favorite/least favorite The Pacific characters? Why?

Favorite: Runner (because I loved him first)Least favorite: people might hate me if i said basilone so i won’t

6. Favorite/least favorite Generation Kill characters? Why?

Favorite: Doc BryanLeast favorite: ???

(I’mma be real honest with you, Gen Kill is my least favorite of the 3?  I’ve watched it less, and haven’t actually watched the whole thing in…a while?  So I forget things?  And my feelings for it were never that strong to begin with, so answering these questions is hard.)

7. What was your favorite thing about Band of Brothers?

All of it?  But especially boot camp.  And everything else.  Fuck.

8. What was your favorite thing about The Pacific?

Andy and Eddie and the tank?

9. What was your favorite thing about Generation Kill?

Walt’s face.

I know I’ve also said this already, but who would say Wynn would be alive in the end? Arlo was the worst. ugh.

Wynn is the kind of “villain” that amuses us, from the amount of blood splattered in his face to the infamous thong, we can't hate him, we’re glad that he left Harlan in his grooming van.  Yes we’re glad that Arlo is dead XD  Tim is a precious soul and I know he’s your favorite Dee ^_^
