30 Day Daikaiju Challenge day 20: Tag Team Match

Gigadara & Wargon Vs. Ghonmas & Typhon

M.A.R.S. is not the only thorn in Dr. Lucifer’s side. Earth’s kaiju often have the tendency to interfere with his plans. A particular annoyance as of late is Ghonmas. She had swooped down and destroyed several of his Machine Beasts already, and chances were that she would continue to do so in the foreseeable future.

Opportunity struck one day when Ghonmas got into a fight with the extraterrestrial golem, Gigadara in Seattle. Knowing that Gigadara would only attack organic life, he sent Wargon, his most successful Machine Beast, to aid the golem. The plan worked, Gigadara registered Wargon as another of its kind, and the combined might of the artificial kaiju was too much for the flying kaiju. Gigadara grabbed a hold of poor Ghonmas, as Wargon pummeled it. The world looked on in horror as one of its protector kaiju was being beaten to death.

And then the sky lit up, and Typhon appeared before them.

The colossal kaiju towered over the others, and after a brief moment of silence, Typhon made his first move. Teleporting through different dimensions, Typhon appeared behind Wargon and threw the robot over its shoulder, causing it to land on a building. Ghonmas took the opportunity to escape Gigadara as Typhon continued to tear into Wargon. Gigadara found itself wrapped up in Ghonmas’ constricting tail. The flying kaiju squeezed Gigadara, threatening to break it in half. Before it could though, Gigadara broke free of Ghonmas’ hold and burrowed underground, escaping to parts unknown.

As for Wargon, Typhon had torn off its arm and tail. Dr. Lucifer called for Wargon to retreat, but it was too late. With a sudden blast of energy from his mouth, Typhon destroyed the Machine Beast once and for all.

Ghonmas thanked her mysterious savior before he once again vanished into thin air, leaving only an incredible amount of radiation.

As for Dr. Lucifer, the loss of Wargon was great. He still had the blueprints for it, but after seeing it torn to shreds by this strange monster, he figured it would be best to move one with his magnum opus: The Ultimate Killing Machine Beast.

30 Day Daikaiju Challenge Day 11: Mecha Kaiju

Killer Machine Beast

Wargon

Shunned by his colleagues for his inhuman experiments, Dr. Luke Hanison retreated to his secret underground to plot his revenge. Now going by the name “Dr. Lucifer”, he constructed an army of massive robot kaiju called Machine Beasts. Dr, Lucifer built over 100 Machine Beasts, each one unique and dangerous in its own way. However, each one has fallen to either the Earth’s kaiju or M.A.R.S. 

One Machine Beast, however, managed to hang one. Wargon was built specifically to hold it’s own against even the powerful Hattura. Its body is lined with razor sharp blades, making grappling difficult. In addition, the horn on its head can fire a powerful laser that can level a city block with ease. Its weak spot is the generator located in its chest.

While Wargon is strong, Dr. Lucifer has been working on a more powerful Machine Beast. One that could destroy all kaiju...

For the final day of #adroidaday challenge at @dailydroids, I saved the best for last.  Pictured is Wargon, an original Diaclone mold that was officially brought to the states by Takara prior to the debut of The Transformers.  Wargon was originally known as Warudoros in Japan.  In the states, he was branded under the Kronoform banner, most remembered for their transforming watches.  Part of the Combiner heritage, Wargon is made up of three insect-like ships that form a complete gestalt.  This example here is missing the little yellow rockets, but is in otherwise fine condition.

Someone in the WoW tag started a new Wargon today.  I'm not feeling really rude, so I'm not going to reblog and ridicule, but I am going to post a little untagged aside here to laugh my ass off, because I feel like it, and because I just had to get 6 tubes of blood redrawn because a lab messed up my bloodwork that was drawn three days ago.
