Clear up, ne?” Granted, Kiyoshi could feel the strain in his own muscles tugging pain across fibers when he woke up but it was all about the attitude! And it was a little amusing to see the other boy become a little more disgruntled, Kiyoshi hefting a hearty pat to the captain’s shoulders now. “Besides, once she sees how stiff we are, warm up might take longer!” Again, not a certainty but it wouldn’t hurt to hope at least.

Hyuuga narrowed his eyes a bit, but didn't move as Kiyoshi slowly made his way closer to him. Damn weirdo. "It's...fine." It was actually pretty nice, but hell would freeze over before admitting that! "Heh, you really wanted to go out with me? Who knew."

“Hyuuga, of course! It’s not like I’d ask someone out on a date if I didn’t want to, you know!” Kiyoshi stopped to reel it in a little bit, though his expression brightened up a tad when the other boy didn’t move away with his next approach, reaching over to try and take Hyuuga’s hand- the taller boy would stop if the other boy didn’t want to, but it sounded like a nice gesture for the time being. “With that settled though, you said you wanted to go to that feudal roleplaying place? It’s not too far from here, you know~”

Watching Hyuuga squirm was probably on the top of the list of things Riko loved to do. Right up there with coaching and collecting little bear paraphernalia. It wasn’t as if Riko wasn’t nervous going on this date with Hyuuga. Hell, it was only so long ago that she realized he wasn’t kidding when he told her that he liked her. (She still wasn’t completely sure he was serious.)

But seeing him be nervous helped her own nerves tremendously. If she could tease him, she could be less nervous herself. “Nah, I wouldn’t say it’s lame! But a little nervous is an understatement. Your face has been red since we got here! It’s quite fun to watch to be honest.”

“Doesn’t that go with what you always say, Hyuuga?” A date with Hyuuga turned out to be surprisingly (or not so surprisingly) like normal times, only with the addition of small things like attempts at hand holding or Kiyoshi standing ‘really creepily close’ as the other boy was saying. Perhaps the boy was just shy, Kiyoshi creeping just a bit closer as Hyuuga spoke.

“I’ll back off a little if you really don’t like it though. I’m just happy that we’re finally on a date, you know!’
