If you want to make sangria with an autumnal twist, try Spiced Cider Sangria. It has the warmth of apple cider, the freshness of white wine, and the richness of brandy. It has seasonal fruits and spices in it, which makes it perfect for cozy get-togethers or fun events.
Ingredients: 1 bottle of dry white wine. 2 cups apple cider. 1/4 cup brandy. 1/4 cup orange liqueur. 2 apples, sliced. 1 orange, sliced. 1 cinnamon stick. 4 whole cloves. 1/4 cup honey optional, for sweetness.
Instructions: In a large pitcher, combine the white wine, apple cider, brandy, and orange liqueur. Add the sliced apples, orange slices, cinnamon stick, and cloves. Stir well to combine. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight, to allow the flavors to meld. Before serving, taste and stir in honey if desired for extra sweetness. Serve chilled, garnished with additional apple slices and cinnamon sticks if desired.
