Red Jasper painted out. This pigment is a rich red brown, similar in color to Burnt Sienna, perhaps a little redder. It's very textured with heavy granulation, since if it is ground too fine it will be paler in color. I'm very interested to compare this imported pigment with the red jasper I am grinding from local stone! I wonder how different they will be? . .
