Neuroses? Do they recognize them as such?
Adelynn has a huge amount of baggage and she knows it, but she can’t exactly walk into a therapist’s office and describe the Renaud Sisters’ family history without being diagnosed as certifiably insane (except that’s not a real diagnosis).
Reaction to sudden intrapersonal disaster (eg close family member suddenly dies)
She shuts down. She buries herself in her work/books and pretends nothing is happening. She’s very bad at processing extreme emotions.
Most prized possession?
Her education. She’s not really a material possessions kind of person.
Superstitions or views on the occult?
A big, gigantic NOPE. Doesn’t want to know, doesn’t want to engage, she wants her life to remain as normal as possible.
Do they express their thoughts through words or deeds?
Adelynn isn’t afraid of being blunt and vocalizing her thoughts, but her more revealing moments are when she’s vulnerable and doesn’t know what to say.
