After maybe three quarters of a mile, Will stopped running. However far out he went heâd have to go that same distance back, and there were plenty of places Adie could accidentally turn which would make finding the blonde harder if she got lost. He pulled himself onto a large low hanging branch of a tree and stretched out comfortably as he waited for the young wolf to find him. He had to admit, he loved being out here even without the full moon to lure him out. rabbits, deer, and other animals lurked in and out of sight, and while the wolf was a predator, will was just relaxing today. Eventually he thought he heard her footsteps and caught a glimpse of blonde hair, and grinned to himself before jumping down into view. âNot bad.â
After what seemed like forever to Adie, she finally caught up to Will, not at all impressed by the amount of effort she had to exert. It wasnât like she was tired, considering her werewolf disposition, but she wasnât a fan of the woods and definitely wasnât a fan of the numerous spider webs hanging around. It was safe to say she wasnât a fan of the outdoors in general. âYou do realize that I parked near where we were so I may as well have walked home,â she deadpanned, unable to resist being slightly dramatic. âBut thank you,â she added, softening up. Despite his obvious dislike of her and the fact that she wasnât going to be building a Will fan club any time soon, she did appreciate him trying to help her get better.Â
