Snow, finally it was snowing in London. And not one of those light, damp snows that melt the second that the flakes touch the ground, it was Snowing, capital S. So our lovely boys did not lose time to go on a lovely romantic stroll through Hyde park, watching everything getting covered in white.
Moony and Padfoot were enjoying the night, chatting, laughing and walking.
Remus was all bundled up: scarf, gloves, sweater, hat and jacket, while Sirius, as always, was wearing just his leather jacket.
“You’re going to freeze, love.”
“Who cares, Moony, we only live once. Besides, I casted a warming charm on the jacket, I’m not a savage.”
“And did you, by any chance, cast a warming charm on your hands too?”
“Shut up.”
Remus chuckled and grabbed his lover’s hands, which were buried deep in his pockets, seeking some warmth.
He grabbed them both and enveloped them in his, blowing warm air on them.
“Aw Moons, you’re so sweet.”
“Wouldn’t want my lovely boyfriend to get frostbites, wouldn’t I?”
Sirius blushed looking at Remus’ eyes, they were so sincere that he could have cried just by the love that was emanating from them.
Padfoot could not believe that he got so lucky in his life to cross paths with his Moony.
He just smiles. There were no words in his repertoire that could express how much he loved the man in front of him. He hoped that the emotions he was pouring in his eyes were enough to let Remus know everything he was feeling.
Just at that moment, Remus brought their conjoined hands at his lips, kissing them oh-so sweetly, and Sirius just knew that Remus understood him, because they were like that: for as much as they loved telling each other their feelings, they didn’t need words: their looks, their eyes, their smiles, those would always tell the other how much they cared, how much they loved their partner.
“Moony, love, let’s go home.”
“Ok darling.”
