Its brilliance and warmth invigorates my soul and skin, Illuminating all that is placed within. Soothing my senses as it consoles again, It rises and fall and even the flora bows as it decends, Then streches forth as I do, letting it heal and mend. So mighty is its power that the ancients found reverence in, As it holds sway over death and life that nearly all depend. Raining down the magical lights in the north as it lends, As it sometimes does here, it's essence to the wind. Maybe its reverence we should not rescind. Maybe its place is among the gods that ascend. Have you ever seen in its presence the cheerful faces and joyfull nods without pretend? As we are awed and upon its rays hope does sail but when time comes that it must fail or for a time suspend, Though we are flawed, if we are fortunate and learn life's lessons and any are left to last until its last breath, still all else will end.
