#53 - The Newest III - Warm Weather Watch 2014 - 1

Continuing on in my week of posting a mix every day here's one I'm pretty proud of. This is a mix of 21 songs and, similar to my two previous "Newest" mixes, almost all of which came out in 2014. I made a couple of exceptions to that rule since it had been a while since I've posted one of these, but almost everything in here came out in 2014, and lot in the last month. I saw Roosevelt, Dum Dum Girls, the Mary Onettes & Future Islands a few weeks ago at SxSW so they were all at the forefront of my listening of late.

Another thing I'm going to be doing a lot of is posting some warm-ass music, because I am so sick and tired of the crummy weather and ready to hit the beach. Accordingly, this'll be Warm Weather Watch 2014 #1, with #2 to follow later this week. In addition to being super new, these songs would make a canny soundtrack to a drive out to the beach. I see no reason to wait for actual warm weather to start listening to Summery jams.
