#you dont understand i sobbed for an hour when i couldnt get tickets when they went on sale #and i cried like 4 times in the past 5 years it was that serious #then spent months hearbroken bc i couldnt find ticket anywhere #and the portuguese website where they were sold was genuinely the worst website of all time that shade of blue still makes me sick #their resale never ever ever worked #then three before the show oomf on twitter said they were selling last minute tickets #with no warming whatsoever and almost no one knew yet so i went to the website and got two tickets #warning*#then the organisation was such a mess that the concert had to be delayed for two hours #meanwhile my specific section had no line so it was only like two minutes til i found my seats and they were so good #they were obstructed view but they were the least obstructed of all of them and first row so the people one meter to my #left had payed way more than me for basically the exact same view #god i miss being happy

ok so i work at a venue in nyc bartending and ushering, basically whatever the house manager needs. last night i bartended but there were three huge events going on at the same time, i wrapped up bar and my boss asked me if i could stay for a few more hours because she was short on ushers and i said sure. she sent me up to the balcony, where i was immediately pulled onto a DIFFERENT event by the other house manager, so i jumped into an event that was about to open house which was a screening of the last episode of veep and a talk with the whole cast of veep so obviously it was packed.

when people do talks they take audience questions. the ushers pass out index cards, people write their questions down, and then we collect them and give them to the event organizer. anyway i was collecting index cards down the center aisle and julia louis-dreyfus stops everything to call me out in front of a room of 400 people and ask what i was doing. like.........why is this my life. why did julia louis-dreyfus do this to me
