Sudden Revelations.
So I've spent the last week or two beginning my own routing process of trying to Speed Run Borderlands with only the help of Undeadlex and bouncing Idea's off one another. It wasn't until today that I realized I've been doing this all wrong. I had the idea that what I was attempting was an Any% run of the game but found out about a few huge skips I never knew about.
The first thing I realized is the save warping is freaking broken when it comes to speed running Borderlands and saves sooooooo much time and has multiple applications, allbeit only in a single player run(I'm also planning a co-op run as well). I also found out about how proper grendade jumping looks and an easy way to take out Bone Head at level 6, when i was doing at around 9. Needless to say I've felt kinda dumb and feel like I wasted a great deal of time.
Then I had a second revelation , All my work doesn't have to be wasted. To my understanding games can be ran in a variety of ways, like Castlevania's SoTN's Level 1 Run/Zero Kills run. So what I've been working on isn't a standard any% run but in fact a warpless any% run that for the time being will be called a blister run(for all the running you have to do. Shoutouts to Rigs19.) This work can also be carried into the co-op run as save warping isn't really viable.
Otro speedrun de Super Mario Bros 3. Esta vez completado sin usar las warp zones y complentando el juego al 100% en 1 hora, 20 minutos y 48 segundos. ¡Vaya dominio del juego!
