The United States presents itself to the world as a beacon of liberty and a proponent of human rights around the world, ready and willing to stand up for and defend the downtrodden...but guess what??this myth is not believed outside of the United States’ borders, and decreasingly within. There is simply too much evidence to the contrary. The U.S. has been at war for over 220 of its 241 year history. During that time, it has shown a complete lack of respect for the human rights of both the citizens of the nations against which it wages war, and its own soldiers The wars that dominate the world today are hybrid conflicts, consisting of a series of "small wars". The "long war" is defined by the U.S. transition from post-Cold War era to global conflicts in the "war on terror"..."or war on drugs" This includes wars in Bosnia,Kosovi Afghanistan, Iraq,Libya,Syria,Yemen,Palestine and across the Sahara in Africa, to the Philippines... For the American public these endless wars don't appear to carry much of a human cost. Compared with a war such as Vietnam, there have been relatively few U.S. casualties in Syria,Iraq,Libya or Afghanistan. That is because the United States has transitioned from leading operations to working "by, with, and through" local forces...a FACT WHICH THE AMERICAN PUBLIC SEEMS TO BE DETACHED FROM DUE TO CONTROLLED MEDIA REPORTING! Today the United States Military is operating in at least 90 countries where 8,000 U.S. special operations forces are based..Why?🤷♀️ #WakeUpWorld #WakeUpAmerica #USA #warmongers #warprofiteers #war #children #foreignpolicies #deathwarrant #refugees #humanityfirst https://www.instagram.com/p/BqbuEe-FRzX/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1cl7hw53e4xf0
