                   ‘  ginny -------------  ’       her voice was stern, probably the most sombre tone she had even spoken to her friend in. the tone matched the look she gave her ; wide eyes watched with sadness in them, a sadness that comes from the fear that ginny would not listen to her.      ‘  ... that man hurt prim, we knew that was true, if we go around murdering people because someone said the did something bad with no proof ... what good is that?  ’

          SAFETY : that’s what her hands felt like snaking her fingers through his hair. and he allowed himself this PEACE and  q u i e t  after what felt like a millennia. he was BEAT pretty bad and smelt of debris and blood. too tired to change or shower, he closed his eyes against her touch. he would lie here forever if he could. next to her.

                        ❛   i’ve never met a samer    ❜     head tilts,   she  considers  the  other  for  a long  moment.   at  this  point  in  her  life  -  she  thought  she  knew  most  of  the  shadowhunter  families.    her  time  in  alicante  as  a  child  had  allowed  her  to  come  face  to  face  with  many  of  the  families    (  some  she’d  like  to  never  see  again  ).     at  least  with  this  family,  she  had  no  bad  memories  associated  -   yet.   she  hoped  it  could  remain  that  way.   the  blackthorns  needed  more  allies,  and  less  enemies.   she  attempts  to  be  friendly.       ❛   we’ve  probably   covered  the  samer’s  in  class  but   I’m  not  a  BORING  NERD   so  I  sometimes  can’t  put  a  name  to an  institue  -   remind  me  ?     ❜

          it would have been too easy to remain in egypt all these years –– at the risk of losing her damned mind. she adored her home, but it was soiled in blood and memories; rife in misunderstandings of who she was. millenniums later and she was still a whore queen, remembered only partially for her accomplishments, but mostly for who she’d let slip between her legs. 

            did she regret it? never. 

but thousands of years was an endless feeling. and so she travelled. across time, she bore many names. they were grains of sand along an hourglass, each marking another life she’d lived. and now, at last, she could rekindle her original title once more. 

she stood in the hall of magnus bane’s luscious home and took a moment to adjust an already impeccable lipstick application. her skin was vibrant with color, her eyes lined in thick kohl she’d made herself. 

she had not aged a day.

    a whisper sounds in silent room: “you’re still awake?” SHE had found herself awake in the night to room still quiet, couldn’t go back to sleep. sat staring for long, long minutes at the hammock up above her, gave up at last just to find one other sleepless inhabitant. tugging at too-long sweater sleeves she sat down beside him. “is everything...are you...alright?”
