Boarding school was fun at first as it gave him some freedoms and kept Jake’s mind off of the fact that his parents were always away and at times he became resentful at that fact, but after this year he would enter the air force academy and in time the air force like his parents. Overall though Jacob kept mostly to himself keeping busy with his studies so he could hopefully impress his parents when he would make a weekly skype call. With midterms just finishing he knew some were going to sneak off of the campus however Jake just wanted to go for a nice run in the woods and maybe stop by the lake for a swim.
It had been a long run running the circuit around the grounds and now walking back to his room he spotted a big dog it looked like it had been in a fight or someone hit it with something. He saw blood on its midsection. He had always wanted a dog so seeing how someone could do this and just leave the dog here did not sit right with him. He picked the dog up gently and made his way up to his room where he carried the dof into the bathroom and began to clean it up and began cleaning the the blood and used a bandage wrap and began wrapping it around the dog. He had wanted a shower but would have to wait for the morning after he saw how the dog was feeling. Jacob stripped off all but his boxers opened the window to let in the cool night air and went to bed.
