I’m a freelance botanist surveying wildflower habitats and helping local communities and schools improve their wild spaces in the north east. People expect me to have a beard.

Why
Why Warrior? I’m part of a team identifying the most important parts of our local botanical heritage, making sure they are protected and conserved. They are not the rarest in the country or the most spectacular, but they are ours and so we look after them as best we can. Isn’t that what a modern warrior does?
