At least, that’s what Nora suggested when he told her about his childish crush on Yang. Just…something about her open personality and her heart…entranced him. It was something he needed, struggling with himself. Just hold her hand…he could do that.

And when she didn’t pull away, his cheeks red, an embarrassed smile on his face. For the introverted boy, it felt like he just hit a home run. He did it…exhausted, but he did it.

“Y-Yeah.” he sputtered out. “I’m…alright with that.”

The blonde couldn’t but giggled at the other.

         “So you’re a big noodle? You’re a little bit buff to be a NODDLE, Handsome.” The blonde said placing her hand on her hip and just smirked. Though she kept his other hand in locked with her, and all she could do right now was smile. The blonde couldn’t help but think about this--- Ren was already the nice guy, and she enjoyed it. Even so-- SHE might have had a SMALL crush on him-- but that’s not going to be said anytime soon.

                    “Really? Then--- We should get something to eat~”

He’s silent for a moment, swallowing hard as he looked at her with a pitiful expression. “…this…isn’t like you.” he muttered. “What did you do?” he repeated softly.

    “You need to UNDERSTAND. I don’t know WHAT I did... It.. It was HIM. He did something at the end... he.. MADE all of this up..” She said trying to keep calm.

“I told ya to stop it ‘fore I did somethin’. I warned ya, fuckwit.”

There were very few times that he would get pissed off at someone, so this was one of those times. This guy just pushed him and pushed him, that even if he said he was a guy, this person still kept flirting, getting into his personal space, saying ‘Sure you are, sweetie’ after each protest, and still used the pronoun ‘She’ instead. Though now, with the other guy on the ground with his nose bleeding from a very well-executed kick to the face, he really needed to get out of there, and like, right now before the retaliation came.

So, he took off running for a few blocks before barreling into someone on the street. It took him a moment to register the ground, and the other person, but survival instincts kicked in instead. He grabbed the person he ran into’s arm and pulled him up while getting up himself, though he never let go as he took off running.

“No time. Sorry to pull ya in. Rather not have ya be beaten. Just run.”

Nora groaned, and dragged her hands down her face, before falling to a crouch in exasperation. This was so unfair, the idea of an arrangement had only been sprung on her just days before, and now she was being told they already had a groom in mind?

Besides... he certainly didn’t look like much...?

warrior-lie-ren is one of the nicest roleplayers I've ever met. She's a great friend of mine and takes the role of Ren quite well. I'm glad I met her and wish more people would get to know her.
