My Problem With the new Maps:

I don’t like the new maps in the reprinted books as much as the old ones. The new ones are just too crowded and are harder to understand. Part of that is because the lines aren’t dark enough to portray much contrast. Another part is that the old maps are just easier to understand from a distance. Every Clan territory in the new maps just look too similar too each other. Everybody has the same amount of trees, everybody has the same terrain, it’s just too samey all around.

Issues I see:

Too mountainous, especially ShadowClan and ThunderClan territories; makes the map harder to understand

Not enough trees in ShadowClan and ThunderClan, and too many trees in WindClan

The marsh doesn’t look like a marsh and instead just looks like part of the lake

WindClan camp is not visible

ThunderClan camp doesn’t look like a hollow

Clearing is not visible, nor is the Ancient Oak, nor is the Greenleaf Twoleg Place in ShadowClan territory

Twoleg paths are too big and distracting

Broken Halfbridge doesn’t look broken

Path to Twoleg Nest is too zigzaggy and is distracting

Streams are too zigzaggy which makes them harder to follow and see

The Ridge in ThunderClan is not very noticeable because the rest of ThunderClan’s territory is too hilly already

Issues I see:

The Treecut Place and Tallpines take up to much space. There is also a weird road running through the Treecut Place that adds unnecessary visual clutter

There are barely any trees in ThunderClan territory

Why is the river going in a zigzag pattern?

There are barely any rocks visible for Sunning Rocks and no rocks visble for Snake Rocks

ShadowClan territory isn’t marshy, it just looks normal

There’s no campsite visible in RiverClan territory

RiverClan camp is too far away from the river. It’s supposed to be an island. Neither of the maps show it as an island

Roads are too zigzaggy

Twoleg path and twoleg bridge in RiverClan territory are too big; not to scale

Gorge is not a gorge

Harder to tell what the Carrion Place is because there is no visible trash

There should be more Warriors MAPs based on classic literature. Like a Frankenstein or Dracula MAP would be so cool.
