➠ WHAT?

WARRIORS WEEK is a seven day fan event - running from July 7th to 13th 2025 - to encourage fan content for the Warriors concept album! (Or, if you’d prefer, the 1979 film. Or even a mix of both!)

There are two prompt each day - you can do one, both, combine the two, or leave days out. There is no pressure, this is all for fun!

➠ HOW?

During the event week, tag your posts with #warriorsweek2025 or mention @warriorsweek so I can reblog your work!

Any form of works are welcome - art, writing, photo or video edits, webeaves, poetry, crafts, cosplays, etc - whatever you prefer! You can repurpose old works, but I’d love to see new ones! Content can be created in advance, hence when the prompts have been released

There are no real guidelines in terms of what you can’t create, just be sure to properly tag any potential triggers or sexual content

Day 2 of Warriors Week 2025: Angst / Backstory

Fic title: Scars we carry (carry with our memories)

Summary: Mercy and Rembrandt bond over tattoos and share trauma.

Warriors Fighting Styles

I first fell in love with the warriors game by rockstar which lead to me reading the books and comic; it was one of the first videos games I played with the unique “beat ‘em up” fighting system so I’m gonna apply each of LMM & Davis warrior with there own fighting style.

P.S. they are all the informal/street versions with some headcanon backstory added in

Cochise 🪖 Brazilian Jiu-jitsu, she learned during her service in the military but she prefers grappling into a chokehold than taking them to the ground

Cowgirl 🤠 Krav Maga, she grew up in the Deep South and got into a lot of fights with the law, she prefers to use her guns than fist fight

Fox 🦊 Jeet Kune Do, she very impressionable & often uses moves she saw the other warriors do but she still coming into her own style separate from the others

Cleon 👑 Judo, she would prefer to de-escalate if she can but if not she will not hesitate to throw you against a brick wall or a car

Ajax 💪 Muay Thai, she’s the enforcer for a reason is mostly undefeated and it took multiple cops to detain her

Remebrant 🎨 Taekwondo, hardly ever fights tho but when she does it’s a swift kick to the legs then your sprayed in the face with paint

Swan 🦢 Wing Chun, a lot of quick jabs & combos to the body with a few head shots; she grew up in a very religious abusive house she doesn’t like to fight but it’s going to let anybody push her or other around in front of her

Notable Mentions

Mercy 🌸 Kickboxing, comes from a mob family instead of a gang isn’t used to mobile fighting tactics but does have k.o kicks when one lands

Snow ❄️ Karate, the only one that can win against Ajax & Swan; no trash talk or barbs just straight hands until she wins or you stop moving

Vermin 🐰 Sambo, similar to cleon will throw you around but vermin will hold you down then beat on you from above

It's WARRIORS WEEK over on the discord server, so while I work on something new, here's the fic I wrote for the exchange back in December.

Summary:

Warriors, Time and Twilight investigate reports of monsters returning to the Temple of Souls, much to Warriors' discomfort. He knows that bad things happen here.

Although I've not finished any of my fanfic wips for Warriors Week, I wanted to know if anyone would be so kind to be my beta reader?

I'm looking for someone who will at least correct typos and grammatical mistakes. If they can give constructive criticism (pointing out when the story is confusing, or if the sentence doesn't flow right) in addition to that, it'd be amazing.

Ok I lied. Here's a snippet for day 5 of @warriorsweek : Date Night. (I'm not posting it on AO3 yet though because it needs editing and there is more to be written, as well as other scenes that I need to connect together so it makes sense. Also, this is not proofread.)

Swan had chosen a cosy restaurant for her date with Mercy; something unusual to mark the occasion, without being too fancy or pricey either.

Everything had been going smoothly: the food was better than average, and served on fancy plates. The couple was enjoyed its night away from the chaos of the gang.

Swan was floating on a cloud, until…

“Is that Cowgirl’s voice?” she asked, incredulous.

As it turned out, it was. Her and Cochise were arguing about… tomatoes? a few tables away, wearing frankly out of place clothes.

“I can’t fucking believe it,” Swan grumbled while Mercy gave them a friendly yet confused wave. Swan threw a regretful look at her plate, before getting up and walking to the spies. She slammed her hands on the table — not too loud as to not disturb the other customers or alarm the staff, but loud enough to make Cowgirl startle and drop her fork with colourful curses.

“Hello miss, any reason you are rudely interrupting our dinner?” Cochise asked in a borderline offending fake posh accent.

“Drop the act, Cochise. Your disguises are only drawing attention to you.”

“Damnit, we've been made. Cowgirl, plan B!” Cochise whisper shouted at her partner in mischief. Cowgirl looked at her with the confusion of a little kid lost at a funfair.

Swan sighed and pinched the bridge of her nose — Cochise could have sworn she was acting like a mini-Cleon at this exact moment. 

“Cleon put you up to this, didn't she?”

“Play dumb!” Cochise whispered to Cowgirl, in the least discreet way Swan had ever seen. Cowgirl turned her head to the couple and smiled innocently.

“Who's Cleon?” 

Cochise groaned and slammed a hand to her forehead. Cleon was going to kill them, if Swan did not beat her to it.
