Are you watching the new Tri gun show? Do you like it?

First of all, OH MAN, it's been so long! How are you?

And then second, I dropped it. I was super open to the series at first, and it does some things well (and I've heard it's gotten better), but there were so many elements in the first 5 or 6 episodes that I didn't like in comparison to the original. And even if I hadn't seen and loved Trigun, it wouldn't have made my watch list for this season.

But that's okay. I'm glad they made an effort to reboot the series. I'm glad many are enjoying it. And I hope a ton of people get interested enough to read the manga or try the original

I get where you’re coming from. But here’s the bad news. She was biphobic my whole life growing up. she never forgot he cheated on her. Never forgot he was bi. Said really terrible things about him and bi people my whole life.

So yeah. My 16-year-old ass took the thing she loved most (that I also loved) to tell her that I was everything she’d feared I’d be. :) My biological mother is a terrible person and does not deserve pity.

YEAH! What is the deal with that? Unless it wasn’t rat poison at all, and it was there to play with Yoonbum’s mind, and his body responded because he thought he had ingested the poison. Or it could just be that the poison is outdated and maybe Sangwoo has a touch stomach because of the abuse he has faced with his dad. Idek at this point.

Hey Charles! So, my boyfriend is korean, and Im also volunteering as a youth leader at his (korean) church, and wondered if you have any tips for learning the language? I just started duo lingo on it a few days ago, but it doesn't seem very good at teaching the characters - which is naturally the part I'm having a hard time with. I did see a post circulating awhile back with "how to read korean fast" and I'm going to look that up as well. I don't plan on becoming fluent or anything.

As for learning Korean…i might be able to give some wisdom here! My experience learning Korean (as limited as my ability is) was different than most because I spoke very, very little growing up. Most of my instruction came later.

I think you need to mix instruction with active engagement in the language. For the earlier, consider purchasing a workbook for practice, though you’ll definitely need some guidance, digital or otherwise (I have an app called Drops that may be better—I downloaded it a long time ago but haven’t really used it). And then practice the language with people and just by watching and repeating from Korean dramas and programs. I was so introverted and shy that I did the former while neglecting the latter, which resulted in me being better at writing and reading Korean than speaking it, which pretty much misses the whole point. 😁

안년 하세요! Hopefully I got that right lol. Thanks so much for the recommendation of the drops app for learning korean, I'm finding it very helpful with learning how to write and memorize the hangul. Ive been diligent in just trying to learn the alphabet so at this point I can mostly only transcribe names lol, but it's progress!

I’m glad you’re learning so much! Actually, I’m a little envious—my Korean continues to decline (I was at an APink concert last night for the blog and I was so much more lost when the girls spoke than I’m willing to admit) and yours is progressing. Soon you’ll be better than me!! :P

Hmm, that’s a compelling argument. And he did say that no one really wants to live in his neighbourhood. However, surely people would want to develop those properties or it must belong to some real estate company. So does that mean he is buying all these properties? And just building a ghost town made up of all his dead victims. That’s freaking creepy to think about.
