Happy One Month corrected age to this big chicken pau! What is corrected age? Corrected age, or adjusted age, is a premature baby’s chronological age minus the number of weeks or months he was born early. So for example, a 6 months old who was born three months early would have a corrected age of three months. So corrected age can be helpful if you’re trying to work out whether a premature baby’s development is tracking ‘normally’. For example, a one-year-old premature baby might not be crawling. But if you think of your baby’s age as nine months rather than one year, you don’t need to worry about this. A lot of people say, "For a 3 month old, he is very small eh?" Well, based on his corrected age he is only one month old. So 5KG for a "one month old baby" is HEAVY HORR!
