Screen Print Work In Progress

After deciding on my idea, here is some progress with the original sketch and the illustrator document that has the digital rendition of the print file. 

Lastly there is the final version with the halftone gradient in order to fulfill the requirement to have a halftone. Although the character is wearing a more solid looking armor the gradient makes it look similar to chainmail which is why I chose to do the gradient there.

Final and Reflection

In the end I really liked how my prints came out. I loved the contrasting colors and I think the colors I chose really express well what screenprinting can acomplish. The colors I chose of neon orange and a shiny silver could not be easily reproduced with regular printing methods. This project has definitely piqued my interest in the subject and I will definitely try some more screenprinting art in the future.
