ok unfortunately i’m not educated enough in boy groups to make a solid take, but i was into bts heavy when i was 13 + read hella fanfiction + was in the amino & had their two games downloaded so i think i know Something. so this is what my brain is thinking??? bc ik this headcanon idea isn’t new
in terms of visuals, i think we could all agree chigiri would be it. like look at him. he’s so pretty they would make sure to get extra clips of him in a music video and add him in every thumbnail to draw in viewers, and he’d be a pretty good dancer with a high tenor voice (which in turn makes him the main vocalist) bc despite it being high, it’s also strong and full!
bachira is SO main dancer-coded, like making him Not a dancer would be downright evil. ik this man can DANCE. in terms of secondary talent, he can vocalize well and tends to have many adlibs throughout their songs. his voice is a tad bit deeper (pure baritenor) yet way lighter in texture than chigiri’s. as a result of his vocal texture, he’s also chosen as a lead rapper with kunigami
isagi is definitely the lead vocalist & leader of the group & FACE OF THE GROUP & CENTER, no question abt that. his whole “i’m a… striker!” would turn into “i’m a… vocalist!” in this au, and the whole main character thing he has going on proves it too,,,, he’s definitely a lead singer with hella lyrics given to him at any time. his voice is definitely a higher baritone instead of full tenor like chigiri, but unlike bachira (who is a baritenor) he struggles a bit with tenor notes
kunigami unfortunately would get the smaller end of the stick(?) in the sense that he’s the one performer that ppl r like “kunigami gets no lyrics why🙁” “let him sing‼️” with. i’m thinking that he might be a main rapper that can vocalize, and he has like this nice deep low baritone voice that gives the group harmony. his fans definitely view him as the unproblematic fav (pre wc), then afterwards they’re confused as to why he’s getting into more fights online (post wc)
this group’s theming would be more dream boy, first love, lover-boy, boy next door-esque. like… shoujo-esque, extremely catered to their female fanbase. dessert themes, high school lovers themes, maybe something cute for halloween, etc
they’re always participating on game shows at any time (they’ll be there!) and the fanservice is crazy, especially on bachira’s end. bachira specifically knows his fanbase and gives them what they want! chigiri is also pretty good with it and makes fanservice look effortless
but poor isagi is very shy with it. he tries, but most of the time he ends up looking too awkward or he just straight up cringes himself out (eventually he gets better at it!). kunigami just straight up doesn’t do it bc he doesn’t feel the need to, so when he does its completely unintentional
there is so many shipping fics out of bachisagi/kunigiri in this au and they all know about it bc theyre chronically online. bachira feeds into it by giving extra fanservice and keeping him and isagi’s relationship “unlabeled”, and they have like a very close touchy “bromance”. kunigami is the one mainly leading the kungiri ship because he’s always caught staring at chigiri in game shows or interviews, and their dynamic is really cute. (there are HELLA screenshots online of their fanbase catching him slipping)

yukimiya is the lead visual bc yukimiya is canonically fine as fuck so they’d be using his modelesque looks to the max. yukimiya is also a lead dancer and theres a lot of clips of him online just dancing. he’s a sub vocalist too! but unfortunately is also one of the more underrated members. his footwork especially is crazy good and the fanbase he has is probably the healthiest out of everyone else in the group
rin is the lead vocalist, center, leader, and face of the group (& also ironically the maknae). he has a very recognizable face and he’s very well known. he has had vocal lessons since he was a toddler and as a result has a very wide and flexible vocal range with hella vibrato, ppl think he’s putting them UNDER A SPELL whenever he sings. he isn’t much of a dancer in general but when he performs his movements are like sharp and awesome so he never gets “bad dancer” allegations
nagi is generally an all-rounder in terms of singing, dancing, and rapping. yet unfortunately he is the member that gets the least amount of lyrics assigned to him (he hasn’t bothered to ask for more yet). he has natural performing talent yet has never done anything performing arts-based until pretty recently. like, this guy sings like an angel and has never had voice lessons until 2 months ago??? he also has insane body control that helps with dancing and pulling off flashy moves, similar to yukimiya. him and yukimiya are like the best dancers in this group
shidou’s talent in all areas is great but his strongest attribute is his VOCALS. like this man can SINGGGGGGG. he gets showy-offy about it and constantly is doing a vocal run in the background of their songs or is primarily doing the adlibs just because of how much control he has over his vocal cords. as a result, he’s a main vocalist and its deserved. his falsetto is insane and his voice is heavier than rin’s. his fanbase is very passionate about him and if he ever can’t perform in a show for whatever reason, their days WILL be ruined. he also does the most fanservice out of everyone.
otoya would be a main rapper. his flow is immaculate and honestly it looks like its his destiny. his lyrics are very creative and poetic with hella hypotheticals (helps attract the ladies) that sometimes don’t make sense, but since he’s otoya, he’ll sound like he’s making sense. his voice is light and airy and controlled enough to be smooth and his diction is off the charts. also gets into a lot of scandals because he’s always messing around with girl group members and seems to have a dating rumor with a new one every week. despite that, his fanbase is relatively loyal
karasu would be the lead rapper who bounces off of otoya. his voice is a bit deeper than otoya’s and he gets really into it. like his rapping gets very intense rather than airy so as a result it gets this dark growling effect that mixes with their songs pretty well. he is also a sub-vocalist because he is actually good at singing and would do an adlib or two when told to. then their fanbase would be surprised to hear that karasu actually has a nice singing voice bc a lot of ppl don’t know he’s a sub vocalist since he’s already so good at rapping!!
if u couldn’t guess this group’s vibes already, they are a rebellious bad boy group. they have “hardcore” songs that involve a lot more rapping and topics like getting in trouble, problematic devotion, partying, and diss tracks (karasu, otoya, and nagi have their signature rap diss track series they make themselves about something random in each of their albums that is consistently titled ____ pt 1, ____ pt 2, etc) in direct contrast to the lover-boy theming of the egoist four
they also gained most of their fans from when they did a vampire-themed album with themed costumes and all, and the vibes were impeccable.
in terms of game shows, they do it every now and again. their main focus is on their concerts that they have pretty frequently. their concerts are notorious for special effects and being flashy, so its never a boring time!
honestly i’d like to think that their fanbases would have beef or have the same listeners, like two sides of a coin. “egoist four at day, top 6 at night” type stuff
