As Reyna has discovered the difficult way, whiny soldiers make for pathetic war games, and newcomers make things even worse. Sure, they can open their camp to the Greeks, welcome them, clothe them, shelter them, feed them, but there's always the tension in the air between the Twelfth Legion and the goers of Camp Half-Blood.
So, during breakfast, when Reyna's sick and tired of listening to the grumbling of her own camp members, she decides to set an example: talk to the Greeks, make them feel welcome, and show her soldiers that they're just going to have to suck it up. Sure, it isn't the best thing in the world, but it's something they're all going to have to get used to. Maybe even comfortable with.
She comes across the next Greek with her ever-present stern look, tipping her head in initial greeting. "Good morning. I hope you're enjoying breakfast," she says, loud enough for a few Romans to hear. She's never been good at small talk, though, and it shows.
