I hate that the rightful corporation blaming for the environment has turned into “so it’s pointless to do anything and reduce how much your lifestyle contributes” instead of “so do both”
And I hate people making bank off the diy and zero waste movement, accepting to promote greenwashing and only mentioning personal responsibility, giving people misguided advice and giving people too capitalist an end goal. Climate shortsightedness isn’t a cute look sorry zero waste influencer full of sponsored content
#there are many concrete easy things you can do that barely take effort and I took so much time to think of#because I used no ethical consumption under capitalism too much#while it’s true there is often a less unethical option and not more expensive#washable wipes#alternatives for anything single use and less packaged/paper packaged options#secondhand and thrifted my beloved#sam speaks#like a reusable swiffer cover i could go on
