Avoid love at all costs; that was her motto. Samantha swore to never give into love ever since her mother left her father in broken bits, causing him to actually believe she'd come back. At least now that Sam wasn't looking for love, she knew what all the other ones were like. Disgusting, stupid, and pigs. But at least they both got what they wanted; sex and never having to see each other again. She looked at a guy across the bar, noticing that he'd been staring at her since she sat down. Getting up from her stool, she slowly made her way towards him, only to be stopped by someone a few seats away.
"Can I help you?"

The Hale groaned as she rolled out of bed, her feet hitting the cold floor. It took a decent amount of effort to push herself up again, and she was not looking forward to the next time she had to do that.
The trek to the kitchen was tediously arduous for Derek. Frankly, it might have had something to do with the fact that her back ached 24/7, she was more unbalanced that a child learning to walk, and possibly the seven-month-pregnant baby bump that seemed to get in the way of everything.
One foot in front of the other, the female finally made her way towards the couch just outside the kitchen. "You know," she began, "people always say, 'The pain of childbirth is not remembered. It's the child that's remembered.' Well---- that's bullshit." She said aloud, knowing Isaac would hear anyways.
[ It's perfectly normal to pass him by in the hallway but after the third time she was beginning to wonder if it was just coincidence or not. This time, she stops him. ]
" -- There's no crisis going on, so can you stop stalking me?"
[ That was about as kindly as she could put it with a hangover. ]
