why do people bully wasps
Kinda crazy how I got stung by a yellowjacket today and I didn't make hating wasps a personality trait 🤔 makes you think
entomologists and zoologists on social media abt to be flooded with wasp haters after making a single post abt how wasps arent evil because theyre animals acting on instinct and they actually have an ecological purpose
look. protip but you can dislike an animal/plant/any organism without needing to justify that hatred by saying they're "evil" or not "useful"... like. you can just say you're afraid of wasps or spiders or lampreys or w/e and go. its literally fine if something freaks you out, we all have irrational fears. no one is saying you have to love every single living being on this planet
but you you cant assign human morality to a goddamn frog or something. at the end of the day you gotta respect that they're all living things that are part of fragile ecosystem webs and you can't just get rid of them
