Wasp update: the groundskeeper came over and he says hes gonna get a damp towel and just. Scoop the nest up to throw it away. He says the wasps surely wont sting him and if they do he doesnt mind (??) We dont seem to have bug spray but i was going to town tomorrow anyways so imma buy some
Im innthe dining room and theres this LOUD AS FUCK BUZZING and I DONT KNOW WHERE ITS COMING FROM and im SCARED
And i know im not halucinating it cuz one of my housemates saud he heard it too

We havent had wasps in 25 days OF COURSE we had to get one today

gotta wait 4 to 6 weeks for the critters to die and for the new queens to find somewhere else to settle. Possibly before then we can stuff all the holes they're not currently in so they look for somewhere further away to settle down.
feeling quite relieved also bc the lady was quite nice and understanding. and i'd rather wait than get the neurotoxins (bc the place is inaccessible for anything else), so phew. crisis averted.
