Went shooting today w/ @goatsludge at a local NFS range. Managed to determine that my BM-59 does not explode, that the Occam Defense Merc handguard install we did on my WASR-10 is fully functional and very enjoyable, and that RPK's are just plain fucking neat. Also a very nice gentleman gave us some Czech tracers. Overall a really nice day out at the range.

There was a drive by shooting down the street from my house

And it's not even all that unusual. It happens atleast once or twice a month, and I live 5 blocks from the police station. California gun control has done nothing to prevent criminals from acquiring firearms but has tread all over law abiding citizens rights to do so. If we were able to legally carry guns and protect ourselves they would think twice but instead they know we are unarmed. This emboldens criminals, especially thieves. My own home has been broken into 3 times in the last 5 years.

Stay vigilant and strapped, but most importantly stay safe.

WASR on a rock with a side of moss.

Went shooting last weekend with @bluefouralpha; didn’t take too many pictures, but big thanks to him for helping me get both the WASR and my AR zero’d right. I wish I took a glamour shot of the mettagun, because it was dialed in enough to shoot the heads off of tootsie-pops and even the smaller dum-dums at 25 yards, just using basic MBUS. Not bad for a no-frills mid-length kind of build!
