I love Listener Jimmy and Watcher Tango like- together. They just have a rawness of like- just- ough- i would honestly read your fics of them

I unfortunately don't have fics of them and any that I've attempted didn't get off the ground because I have more of just a vague concept than a story. But their Lore so to sprak is that Tango is a watcher who really really really loves his little canary because he doesn't care about the winner, he enjoys The Struggle and antics of the game most. After dare to flare he focused on him and after he died the first time he put the canary curse on him. He was very excited to be his partner in double life to watch the antics up close and was disheartened to see how much his curse upset Jimmy. He tries a lot harder to make it fun for Jimmy even though he doesn't understand Jimmy's feelings so he never really helps solve the actual problem of Jimmy dying early- the whole reason he loves him is because he's cringefail after all. Basically he's just a little eldritch weirdo obsessed with extreme emotions, as watchers are.

For his part Jimmy is happy with Tango even if the man is a little too giddy when they die in a stupid way.

I worded all this better in my original watcher tango posts like a year ago its probably better to go find those. I know i tagged the art but idk if the ask(s) are...

Tango loves making games and bets simply to cause chaos...

He adores all the drama of the games, he's always eager to hear about some rivalry or strange scenarios...

He avoids interfering with things except to make them more chaotic...

It isn't about winning, it's about having fun and being entertaining...

He's so gleeful whenever someone dies...

Of course he loves that ridiculous guy who's always posturing and yelling and getting in arguments just to back down, who tries very hard yet can't help put himself into the oddest situations... who always dies first no matter how hard he tries...

Jimmy's an amazing personality who always makes things more interesting. He strolled up to his game and lost miserably, thrn died yet again moment later blowing two other people up in the process. He got to play with him himself when they became soulmates and wasn't that so much fun, especially all their dramatic deaths... He understand why Grian spends so much time around him now.

He won't step in to help him. Jimmy's the underdog of the narrative, he has to pull himself up. He can't just give him time or hearts unless he does something fun to earn it.

That's his amazing beloved canary who makes every day fun and entertaining, who always has big reactions. He won't let him go, he won't let anyone else but Jimmy break the curse he put on him.

He doesn't really get it, though, why at the end of every game Jimmy seems so upset. He doesn't like that, but what on earth is upsetting him? Tango'll just comfort him until he's happy and determined to win again, even if he's doomed to fail.

It's why Jimmy prefers Tango when they're on any other server or playing any other game.
