So rewatching Godzilla vs King Ghidorah I ended up realizing something.
I wasn’t so concerned before when I was younger cause I was mostly watching it for the big fight between two kaiju rivals and I was a major Godzilla fan in the first place.
But it just strucked me:
The girl that time traveled with the two guys of the film betrayed them when she knew what they were doing was wrong, stole and reprogrammed an advance android to work for her instead of the two guys, smashed their super computer controlling King Ghidorah, actually got the final blow on both of the douchebags, had the android transport their ship to get destroyed by Godzilla, went to the future to persuade one of her colleagues to go back with a hybridized version of Ghidorah famously known as Mecha King Ghidorah, and was the fucking pilot of the beast for the final battle against the raging Godzilla in Tokyo.
She had Ghidorah rebuilt so she could fly in to save her country in a past timeline so that Japan can redeem itself somehow.
I honestly can’t believe I had overlooked that small tidbit but I’m glad I know this now
