yeah, i totally understand where Carver’s coming from. usually when I keep him I play as a male Hawke because squabbling brothers are great. yeah definitely go through and do warden bethany at least once. she’s fly as fuck.

i feel bad that i’m completely the opposite haha. i love playing a mage, but i almost always play a rogue or warrior in DA2 specifically because i love bethany so much. and grey warden bethany gives me life

i gotta admit this is only the third time I'm playing DA2 and I play as a mage everytime a) bc I fucking love playing as a mage and b) I just love Carver. Sure he acts like a dick but man if I was in his position I'd be throwing a temper tantrum every 5secs. People tend to forget he's still very young; he's 19 years old during Act 1. He just lost his twin sister, his father died years prior and he feels excluded from his own family; stuck in his sibling's shadow and unable to find his own place in the world.
