Kim Kardashian West is Robbed at Gunpoint in Paris.

Reality TV star Kim Kardashian West was robbed at gunpoint last night in Paris.

Allegedly, five men handcuffed and forced the concierge to open her rented luxury apartment. Kim was tied-up and locked in the bathroom while two of the five men, dressed as police officers, stole a $4.49 million dollar ring and a jewelry box containing $5.6 million and two cellphones.

Kayne was giving a concert in Queens and abruptly left the stage to rush to his wife’s side, after hearing the news.

A spokeswoman for the star stated “she is badly shaken but physically unharmed.” Earlier in the week, the star posted pictures from Paris and wearing a large diamond ring. She had posted/tweeted earlier that evening from the Givenchy show that her sister Kendall was walking in. I find this to be a horrific episode and one I should hope no one would ever endure. I can’t help but wonder if over exposure might have had something to do with this. I am relived to hear that Kim K. is doing ok and on the road to recovery. I strongly urge everyone to think twice before they post.

This is not the first time one of the famous family members have been targeted. Sister Kourtney was robbed in Oct 2009 along with Kayne’s $4mil home broken into in 2012. Other celebrities have fallen prey to less than fortunate circumstances such as Chris Brown, Miley Cyrus, Britany Spears and Rihanna to name a few. Several break-in became highly publicized after the film “Bling Ring” showed teenagers breaking into wealthily closets of the rich and famous. Paris Hilton had a reportedly $2mil stolen in jewelry, clothing and cash. Lindsay Lohan was robbed of $130,000 in jewelry and Rachel Bison’s home was broken into 5 times by the same group.
