TELL ME ABOUT HIM THE OC

He, he looks awesome! Does he have a name??

He used to be!

Back in 2019, I had that whole slasher band au, right?

Well at some point I sat down and was like, "okay, so these guys are basically ocs. So they're ocs now."

His name is Francisco Mendoza, usually goes by Stain, or Sisco if you're a friend.

The story is set in the mid-80s. Most of the hcs and shit I had for band au freddy kind of carried over to Stain.

He's a social pariah in the small town he lives in because he was groomed by an older man into burning down churches. He got burned. Like on over 60% of his body. He started the Dead Beats, a hardcore horrorpunk band, with some friends and is a hot bisexual mess. He's the lead singer/songwriter and plays guitar sometimes. He is also a horror movie aficionado and carries a walkman wherever he goes.

2🌹 Where in the world does your OC feel most at home? Is there any reason why? If it’s not the place they were born, where were they born? Is there a certain somebody that makes them feel at home where ever they may be? What does home mean to them?

It takes him a long time to realize it but Axel’s home is with his friends. He loves his mom but if he never met Corinne and Stain he never would have left her house or gained the confidence to speak in front of people again. It doesn’t matter where they are, as long as he’s with either of them, he’s home. Especially Corinne. When they aren’t together it feels like a part of him is missing. Home is where he’s able to be himself without being afraid that he’s going to be chastised or abandoned. 

I think he was born in New Jersey but him and his mom made their way up and down the coast over the years before settling in Pockmark, PA.

Grimmhilde is a drifter and a couch surfer for the most part. She’s never stayed anywhere for more than five years at a time; despite this, she’ll always consider New Orleans her home even though so many bad memories are also housed there. To her, it is a city that encapsulates life and death in so many ways and the balance of which she feels like she’s truly able to be herself in. It’s the city of Dionysus, of sex and booze and revelry, but there’s also a reverence you have to have for it. She doesn’t really know what ‘home’ means, and she doesn’t want to. It doesn’t hurt knowing you don’t belong anywhere if you don’t think about it. Laissez les bon temps rouler!
