July is about water chores, and not just watering the garden. The hose fitting up at the house faucet end of the garden hose has been spritzing increasingly, and I’m glad a friend reminded me that it’s more often just a worn washer than the need for a new hose.
That black o-ring is what was in the hose and it’s coming out, and the orange washer is what’s going back into the fitting.
I got the hose screwed back onto the faucet, and there wasn’t a single spritz or drip when I switched it back on.
