Ricketts Glen State Park

Went for camping to the Ricketts Glen State Park. I must call this trip a camping disaster. Oh yes, it was a disaster from the beginning.

Sadly I wasn't able to complete the hiking, but what I saw was enough to be amazed.

The camping site was clean and the view I had of the lake from my spot was really nice. But there was only a restroom and it was quite a walk from the campsite in case you get called by nature. The campground was all rounded, made all in curves which made me have sick motion all the time.

My air mattress deflated in the middle of the night and wasn't able to sleep because some wild animals were fighting next to my tent. I woke up all sore and I had to drive two hours to come back. It was quite an experience that just makes me laugh right now. Life is not only good experiences, we have to learn to take the not-so-pleasant ones to sit and tell them with humor.

I found some dragging marks and animal prints next to our tents. Only God knows what it was!
