hips shifted from where she was seated, he was very close almost enough for their breaths to intermingle themselves together . she couldn’t deny the confident smirk that was on her face and she wasn’t going to deny that she had been teasing him for the past hour- and it showed when both of their cheeks were flushed under their attentions . “ i should ask you the same question . “
At the prompt, Iroh turned his attention from the singes in her shirt to those in his; her firebending did plenty of damage, burning several holes. The plain white shirt, soaked with sweat, clung to his chest as it heaved with breath. “With firebenders, you should never spar in clothes you’re not prepared to lose.” He flashed a smirk before running his fingers through his hair and taking a quick pull from his canteen. “One more round, just to see how much damage we can do?” he asked, hands on his knees, ready to rise from the bench and step back into the ring.

It wasn’t all that often they fought. They ALWAYS managed to find peace and a solution together before a blaze between them can be ignited, but things don’t always end up working out. Kuvira didn’t remember what sparked this argument between them, but all she wanted to do right now is to PROVE she was not in the wrong here.
Her arms were crossed together at this point, face flushing red from the anger she extruded, and her throat felt raw from all the shouting she just did moments ago. She tells herself why she has to FALL for such a stubborn creature--someone who refuses to listen. At this point, she was waiting this to be over and EXPECTED for the Avatar to forgive her (she wasn’t going to be the one to say sorry)--however, things did not go as planned like she had in her mind when she was suddenly dragged to the bedroom. She found her anger was starting to DISSIPATE away.
“I’m in trouble, aren’t I?” she mumbled.

She was doing it again, she knew that all too well she was BROODING. She didn’t need to hear that complaint from the Avatar, biting down on her tongue to resist the urge to snap at her and tell her to mind her own damn business. It wasn’t as if things have been terribly difficult lately, but it was merely the fact remains that she is so undeserving of the second chance that was GRANTED to her. And it seems the feeling is mutual, SHOWN by the others from earlier.
“Now let’s see whose attractive!”
“Sure thing, Miss Insecure.”

Kuvira could only return her gaze right back at the Avatar as she spoke, her eyes shone with nothing but ANGER. Those emerald hues of hers burns with rage (the Avatar serves nothing but a constant reminder of her failure), turning her head sharply away; woefulness reflecting in those tired eyes of hers. “And WHY would you want to help me?” ‘What makes me so damn special?’ Her words came out harsher than she let on, hoping her point could get across--that she wanted to be left ALONE in her own misery and self-pity.
