#watermelon hammock

This is my watermelon basket! I really like how it came out! It has similar purpose to my watermelon hammock, but it looks more like a basket than a mini hammock. I finished this after we harvested our watermelons. Whoops. I guess we’ll use them next year then.

What was originally a way to help me keep track of how long I was making the sides, became those little leaves! I’d explain it, but the Tumblr app has deleted this post twice now, so this would be the third time that I’d have to type all this out. Yeah that’s too many times.

So Tumblr decided "Fuck your words" and apparently deleted my caption but not my tags. I'm sure they'll pop up in a week, but I'm annoyed that I can't see them now. Anyway, my watermelon hammock was dry as a bone and no trace of mold or mildew. No discoloration or deformation. The watermelon grew a ton though.
