Okay I'm all for charity and awareness but the Ice Bucket Challenge needs to stop. They raised awareness and $80 million. The point was to get people to donate money and I'm sorry but you don't have a million fans on Twitter and you dumping out a precious resource helps no one. This has wasted anywhere from 6 to 10 million gallons of water. It seems no one is really talking about this. Aquifers don't always replenish and many of them throughout America are on a steady depletion cycle. California is already facing massive drought issues as is much of the Colorado region. Both of these situations are dire and do threaten farming and even how much water is there for us to drink. Millions of people die each year because they don't have access to clean water. So now that you've done this challenge, I challenge you all to donate to one of the many clean water projects to deliver clean safe water to a third world country.
