❛ Might I say, Mrs. Watterson, your two boys and your daughter are all mighty neat kids! Why I think they are just dandy! ❜ He had only seen them with Rod and Todd briefly but they all seemed to be playing together quite well. It was nice to see his boys making friends, especially as they were often picked on for having a softer temperament than most children.

Ned was lonely after losing Maud and it would be great to have another family to hang out with, other than The Simpsons who always turned him down. ❛ I don’t like to ask, on account that it’d inconvenience you in anyway but...; would you and your family like to come camping with the Flanders clan? ❜

Karting a shopping trolley around a supermarket was never easy. You had to account for incompetent parent's offspring to make good on that name and spring out at you when you least expected it. Or some moron to barge into you when you had to cut across the aisle because you thought you saw canned bread. Only to discover it was nothing of the sought, just some refried beans. 

A heavy breath exudes. ❛ Figures... ❜

He continues on his shop only to find that the same rude fool who had crashed into him has done the same to a feline woman. While not an empathetic he rolls his trolley up next to her, cutting the culprit a look before an earnest expression befalls her. 

❛ Unlikable moron. Doesn't know the basic protocols of decency. Surely she would agree with that sentiment. ❜ He notices she was trying to reach for a box of cereal at the top shelf and, absentmindedly, knocks it down for her. Courtesy of being stunned by the same imbecile. ❛ Can't even go shopping anymore without some neanderthal acting like basic decency was not yet invented, can we? ❜ Tentacles on his would-be-hips he gives her a nod of approval. She seemed to be the only decent one here, excluding than himself.
