*My ears have perked up in curiosity as I noticed a new message in my inbox.* "H-Hmm...? Abstrac-....Ab-... abstracting oatternoflayers..." *I mumbled to myself, reading its ask over and over again, but nothing clicked.* "Who... who are you...?" *I questioned, squinting my eyes slightly in suspicion, my ears folding down slightly.*

"Anyways, hellooo!!!" *I suddenly beam, my demeanor pulling a complete 180°.* "How are you, Zubin? What brings you to my dumb little blog?" *I tilt my head to the side cutely, eagerly waiting for an answer, smiling warmly.*

Do you know what wattpad coded means? Because i see a lot of people using it to talk about wtpr and sometimes they sound a little condescending using it.

I do know what it means and it is a bit condescending but they aren't wrong here.

From what I understand, Wattpad was an early fan fiction site and being fan fiction and early days, it was a lot of dramatic plots and soap opera content. Lots of wild stories.

When the Phone Rings is based on a Korean web novel and I can assure you, it's very over-the-top dramatic and definitely reminiscent of this stereotype of fan fiction.

But that doesn't mean it's not great, bonkers fun, and a lot of people enjoyed Wattpad just as much as they are enjoying this.
