Do you read fics on wattpad?
Oh, I gave up on trying to read fics on there a long time ago.
Every once in a while, I’ll go on there to see if I can find any cute clouis stories I haven’t read yet, which I rarely can since there’s so much, eh, smut on there that I’m not interested in.
Much like when I give Instagram another chance, I end up disappointed and/or slightly disgusted.
Like, I went on there to update [with you] with the new chapters right? I then thought to myself, “Maybe I’ll look around and see if there’s anything interesting to read. Let’s give this place another try.”
And that was a mistake because I stumbled across a Violet x Marlon story and now I wish Wattpad didn’t exist.
That’s not a joke.
I wish it was, but it’s not.
I couldn’t believe that it was real because surely it must be a joke right? No one would actually ship Violet and Marlon together for real, right? Right?
So I clicked on it and the summary was like “After losing her boyfriend Louis, Violet seeks Marlon’s comfort-” or some shit and when I say I haven’t NOPED out of somewhere so quick-
Yikes.
Like... I don’t have to tell you everything that’s wrong with that, right?
So no, I don’t read stories on Wattpad anymore.
I’m not about that life. I’m sticking with AO3.
