Got great compliments on the earrings that Ruby brought. Decided to engage help from her since we are doing some online shopping for the upcoming Chinese New Year celebration. Ranting~

It takes a lot of restraint for me to not comment when someone post stuff along the lines of expecting a savior to arrive and save them. I don’t understand the reason why anyone would anticipate that to begin with? Perhaps it’s because of our past. Our environment had always been one where we need to rely heavily on ourselves for survival. We have worked extremely hard to reach the stage where we are at right now. I feel insulted when someone commented that their parents didn’t give them the resources for survival. What’s that suppose to mean? Our parents didn’t taught us much either and look where we are right now. 

Another point that annoyed me the most is when someone undermines our effort, especially in studies. We put in the effort to excel and so our grades reflected that, what’s wrong with it? To imply that everyone who scored well in their studies achieved that by either cheating the system, copying the assignment or having notes that passed down by one’s predecessor is simply insulting.  

My sincerest apology for the rant but I need to get it out of the system. This had been bothering me now so I have to acknowledge it to process through. 

Oh well~ I guess I’m still a long way to go before being a fantastic counselor.

Having a major headache while William continued to study his DSM-5. I should have known better, finding a copy of it online is not a good idea. 

On a side note, Diamont appeared to be happy. He met a friend he’d made from Nara last year who is in Singapore as an exchange student. I could sense that he’s jealous of her though. Hmm....
