ATTENTION EVERYONE (ESPECIALLY THEME STEALERS)
there is now a new network created by Ekhlas and Joan (previously aka-donuts and virtualdonut)
IT'S CALLED THE HTML WORKERS NETWORK!!! YAY!!!! (the blog is still incomplete)
how it works:
everytime someone steals a theme or coding report it back to any of the members or admins (listed on the blog) with the URL and screenshot proof of the coding or blog.
we will then place the url and proof on the right column of the blog. the stealer will receive one mark everytime they steal. once they hit 10 marks, the information will be gathered and reported to the tumblr staff. of course if there is enough proof, the staff will surely make a move.
any blog type can be reported. (targeted at quality blogs tho)
why did we create this?
our intention is to expose theme stealers and eliminate them. it's not illegal but it's immoral and wrong to do so. think of how rude it is to steal someone's hard work. it's like copying off someone's homework and handing it in as their own. repetitively. obviously there aren't any serious consequences but there will be in the future, and our intention is do expose them and stop them fast.
we aren't taking members at the moment until we figure things out but we may in the future.
