So I was a little late to the OMFD train (because I was trying to set up a time to watch it with my friend lol) but even though I knew it was the "gay pirate show" damn I was not prepared for how fuckin queer it was, both textually and subtextually. Lowkey loosing my mind right now over this.

I am absolutely thrilled you are watching it! It's such a beautiful, funny, heartbreaking show and just...a relief to watch as a queer person. A true joy. I wish I'd had a show like this when I was younger, but it means absolutely everything to me now.

Brace yourself though, you watch it once and you're like "this is so good, it's all I want to think about" but then you rewatch it and drown yourself in fics and art and gifs and meta and jokes and it's all you can think about. I'm still having fun though, and I hope you do too :D
