How did you first hear about TVD? did any of your friend watch it before you if so who do they ship?
That’s a good question. Umm. I don’t remember how I first hear of it but I remember flipping through the channels one day and stopped on a channel playing the episode “Lost Girls” and the first scene of The Vampire Diaries that I ever saw was when Damon snaps Vicki’s neck. I’m not sure if it was when that actual episode aired or some time after. But I remember watching Vicki’s transition and not understanding anything that was going on. And I remember watching the flashbacks too. I don’t remember if I finished out the episode or if I changed the channel during the commercials. But I remember having very little interest in watching it then. I asked my cousin about the show after that and she told me she liked it. But I never had any interest in watching it fully until a few years later when I was bored and it was on Netflix. But my cousin did watch it from the very beginning. But she is sort of neutral in the shipping aspect of it. Even though she told me that she thought Stefan was boring. lol. But after I became obsess with it, I have talk to her about it a few times after that and basically convinced her that Stefan was a horrible person/boyfriend to Elena. But its difficult to talk to her about past seasons because she isn’t obsessed with it like I am and has a terrible memory and literally doesn’t remember things that happen in season 1 thru 3 because she watched them when they aired and never watched them again so yeah…but I think for the most part she ships Delena.
Thank you for the question! I am so bored out of mind!
Blow up my ask box
Thinking out loud, kiss me, drunk by Ed sheeran are pretty good as well
Thank you so much! I will check them out! He is definitely an artist I am falling for!
wavefire replied to your post:TVD writers are always extreme when it comes to delena.I mean it doesn't have to be this angsty all the time. They could have focused on a storylines/plot a little more. Shipping delena is soo hard like our heart is constantly being ripped & repaired
You must have be so strong lol. Now days I am confident when it comes to de but even in season four I wasn’t, I was always scared. But that’s just me probably
Oh no babe, it wasn't just you, trust me. Season 4 was brutal with the angst. And this entire fandom literally went up the wall because of it... saying that it was ruining the authenticity of Damon and Elena and coming up theories that it was fake, (which I also believed for a minute there). But, ironically, when Elena chose Stefan in season 3, I knew the direction the writers were going was Delena. I just always saw it. Then, the sire bond thing happened I was just like okay, the sire bond probably resulted because of Elena's love for Damon when she turned...and then 4x08 happened and it was confirmed. And I was just ecstatic that I was right. So, all the angst didn't really bother me because I knew the outcome was going to be beautiful.... and it was. But yes, they dragged out the angst of the sire bond for way longer than they had to...even though the reason why she was sired was answered fairly quickly...the angst was still very present until the finale and that was just too long.

PersonalIy, I live for the angst, as long as there is some sort of payoff. I’ve also learnt that the uglier it gets the more beautiful the outcome when it comes to Delena. And I think the writers do a great job with that. I think that the angst is there because of the storyline/plot and I wouldn’t have the writers change anything. But I agree… shipping Delena is sooooo hard and I love it!
